Rising self-confidence is taking prostheses to another level. People don’t try to hide their handicap anymore.
Show what you‘ve got, don’t make a fuzz about your problem. Wear your hearing aid like a piece of jewelry, a stylish accessory. Be individual, be cool, be yourself.
Hearing aid is made for customers with a medium level of hearing disability. In case of a severe hearing damage one could order the PLUG which contents a more powerful system.

a note for the designers: for the sake of practicality, it might be a good idea to have a ‘piercing’ attachment, that makes it able to be worn as an earring instead, if the user so desired. that way you can appeal to a broader audience while still maintaining the plug idea, and still being a single product.

While we are trying to kick-start a revolution in the hearing industry, we are not this cutting edge.
Our angle is to provide high quality, name brand hearing aids, and quality service at an affordable price.
However, this is a great concept and removing the stigma typically associated with hearing loss will go a long way in encouraging the millions who suffer with their condition to seek treatment.

It’s really, really great to see a genuinely groundbreaking hearing aid design; even if I do hate those lobe-expander earrings!
Making hearing aids socially acceptable and removing any stigma that people have of wearing them is a big problem and products like this would definitely help to give aids a bit more of a cool factor.

[...] Ear Plug Hearing Aid I came across this site while searching for images of stylish hearing aid users in a picture that actually SHOWS the person wearing the hearing aid, not just smiling. At first I thought this was a real hearing aid made by a real company just by looking at the picture. Well, it’s not in production yet, but there’s no reason why it can’t be one day. Hopefully this idea takes off and people into ear plugs can get custom made hearing aids to go with their look! [...]
